Hamlet is one of the most famous tragedies written by William Shakespeare.

This tragedy talks about Hamlet's father's death.

The king was killed by his brother Claudius. After the King's death Queen Gertrude remarried Claudius.The ghost of Hamlet's father appears to him and tells him that Claudius has poisoned him. Hamlet swears revenge and he makes a big mistake : he kills Polonius rather than Claudius. Needless to say that Polonius's son, Laertes, wants to avenge his father's death. Polonius's daughter, Orphelia, loves the Prince but his behaviour drives her to madness and due to this she dies by drowing. A duel takes place and ends with the death of Gertrude , Laertes , Claudius, and Hamlet.

On Januray 25th many students of this school went to the theatre in Lamezia Terme to see with their own eyes English actors performing this beautiful tragedy.

Firstly, let us take a look at what most of the students said after seeing it. Most of them enjoyed every single moment, above all because the actors were really good. They talked in a clear  and understandable way which helped italian students enjoying much more the entire tragedy. Furthermore, when the play was finished everyone seemed to be satisfied. At the end, the actors started introducing themselves. Minutes later they asked the public is someone had some questions to ask ; consequently some students asked them about their real life, the life which these people live out of the spotlight.

Taking everything in consideration everyone enjoyed the experience and the students expressed their gratitude to the actors and to the teachers  who accompanied them to the theatre.
